Clive Owen has had an incredibly diverse career in a very short span of time, including several major blockbusters alongside several indies and television shows.
He's had a busy 2013, with Blood Ties and Words and Pictures with festival releases. He will next be seen with Morgan Freeman in The Last Knights, and he also stars as Dr. John Thackery in the TV mini-series The Knick.
The latest news concerning Clive's career comes in the form of updates to the film 'King of the Kastle'. It's been reported that Asa Butterfield will play the comedic adversary to Clive's character in the movie. The synopsis being released states that the film focuses on, "A middle-aged philanderer being blackmailed by a teenager."
There aren't many more details released, but we know that Academy-Award nominee Jacki Weaver will also co-star, and the film will officially be directed by Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka. The brief synopsis definitely makes the film seem appealing, especially since Asa's character would be a 'comedic' villain, something not as common in today's cinema.
