Quite often in Hollywood you will find that a number of children can follow in the footsteps of their parents into the acting industry, making it very much a family thing and we can often see them starring in films together. There is one family at the moment who has a large number of its members working in Hollywood, and it all started with the father Stellan Skarsgard.
Now, a number of his children have followed him into acting, with Alexander Skarsgard probably become the biggest name of them all, thanks to his role in True Blood, while Gustaf Skarsgard gained a lot of fans for his performances in Vikings. Now, all eyes are on Bill Skarsgard, who has been given the exciting task of taking over from Tim Curry in the role of Pennywise in the new It movie remake.
While most of you will already be familiar with what the original It movie, the new film has an official synopsis which reads, "In a small town in Maine, seven children known as The Losers Club come face to face with life problems, bullies and a monster that takes the shape of a clown called Pennywise." We hope that this new movie can do the original proud.
As well as starring Bill Skarsgard in the lead role for the movie, the rest of the It cast includes such names as Javier Botet, Owen Teague, and Jaeden Lieberher, to name just a few. This new It remake is being directed by Andres Muschietti, with filming currently in progress, and is set to hit the big screen on September 8, 2017.
