When it comes to the biggest sporting events of the year, there are not many that can come anywhere close to the enormity of the Super Bowl, which is arguably the biggest and best sporting event of every year. While we all love watching the two top teams battling it out on the gridiron, we have to admit that we also love the glitz and glamour of the half-time show.

There has already been a lot of speculation as to which star will perform at the half-time show for Super Bowl 51 in 2017, with a number of stars already stating that they are not interested in the gig. British superstar Adele was heavily tipped for the half-time show but she has insisted that she does not want to do the show, which means somebody else will have to step in.
Now though, American beauty Britney Spears has thrown her hat into the ring, admitting that she would definitely be up for doing the half-time show at Super Bowl 51. Britney stated, "I would probably do that. I would have to have a little support group, another artist of course. I don’t think you would ever do the Super Bowl alone. That would be kind of scary."

It would not be the first time that Britney Spears has appeared at a half-time show for a Super Bowl match, as the singer joined a number of stars on the stage back in 2001. Super Bowl 51 is set to take place on Feb. 5, 2017 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. We cannot wait to see which two teams will be involved and which star will eventually perform.
