The world is full of television shows looking find the next big hidden talent of the music industry and the US has enjoyed a lot of success with shows such as American Idol and The Voice. Over the years we have seen a number of different stars as coaches on The Voice, with some of the coaches swapping from season to season.
Your Body singer Christina Aguilera has been on The Voice for a while now and has been rotating with Shakira for the past few seasons of the show. However, Christina has decided to take a break from the show, after giving birth to her daughter Summer last month, with Gwen Stefani taking over as coach, which seems to have Christina worried.
A supposed insider told OK! magazine, "Christina is extremely threatened by [her temporary replacement] Gwen. She knows that if the ratings are higher on Gwen's season than they were on hers, the producers may have no choice but to ask Gwen to stay on. Christina's in a world of paranoid right now. She's ready to fight for her spot."
We do not have too much longer to wait now, to get our first look at Gwen Stefani on The Voice, as she joins fellow coaches Blake Shelton and Adam Levine, along with another newcomer Pharrell Williams. The new season of The Voice US premieres on NBC on Thursday, October 2 at 9:30/8:30c. Check out the promo video below.
