The Dark Knight Rises actor Gary Oldman is set to appear in the movie Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, which is currently filming. Now, Gary has been talking about the role that he will be playing in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and what it is like to shoot scenes with computer generated apes.
Oldman explained, "This movie is set 15 years later and I play a man called Dreyfus who leads a human colony struggling to survive after the earth's population has been eliminated by an ape-born flu."
He added, "A lot of the apes sequences are computer generated and you're talking to yourself on set. But I got used to that when I played a peacock in the animated movie Kung Fu Panda. You've got to be versatile these days!"
As well as starring Gary Oldman, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes also stars Andy Serkis, Keri Russell, Judy Greer and Jason Clarke. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is directed by Matt Reeves and is set to hit the big screen on May 23, 2014 in both the US and the UK.
