There are millions of people around the world who dream of becoming a music superstar, assuming that all you need to have is a good singing voice to become a top star on the music scene. However, there is a lot more to it than just that, including having to be at your peak physical fitness, especially when it comes to performing on stage during a long tour.
Now, music superstar Gwen Stefani has been talking about touring, admitting that she struggled with performing on stage every night, especially during her No Doubt days. Gwen says that she has not toured for so long because of the work that goes into performing on stage.
Stefani explained, "Every time I go out on stage, I have to do my best. You can't just walk through it. You have to be in it, and it's exhausting. I think it's one of the reasons I haven't toured solo in seven years, because the last one I did almost killed me, after having those two babies then going on tour and nursing an infant. Doing those No Doubt shows (in 2015) were super physical. Touring is really draining, but it's also satisfying and healing and it's going to be something that will make me feel super empowered."
We have been huge fans of Gwen Stefani for many years now and there are not many people who can work the stage quite like she does, so we hope that we will get to see plenty more from her on tour in the coming years.
