There is a lot of excitement surrounding the plans that Warner Bros. and DC have for their comic book movies and we are all looking forward to seeing Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice next year. In the movie, we will see actor Jason Momoa taking on the role of Aquaman and Jason has stated that he has full confidence in the ideas that Zack Snyder has for the character.
Momoa was a guest on USA Today, when he said of the character, "I'm in for the long haul. It's an honor. Zack [Snyder] had me at hello, literally when he told me what he wanted to do with the character and what he wanted to do with the world. There's no script written yet for certain things, but I listen to his ideas; I trust him."
As well talking about Aquaman and the ideas that Zack Snyder has for the character, Jason Momoa also spoke about a few of the other positives about playing Aquaman. Jason says that he is very excited about the prospect of his children getting to see him with some of the biggest superheroes ever.
He added, "I'm known for playing rough characters and they're not really allowed to see those things, so it's going to be exciting for my kids to see poppa play with Batman and Wonder Woman and Superman and so on."
We will first get to see Jason Momoa as Aquaman in the movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which will hit the big screen on March 25, 2016 in both the US and the UK. He will then appear in The Justice League Part One, which opens on November 17, 2016, as well as Justice League Part Two, which is released on June 14, 2019. In between the two Justice League films, we will see Jason Momoa in the Aquaman standalone movie, which opens on July 27, 2018.
