Jason Ritter, son of the late actor John Ritter is an actor and producer in his own right. He received an Emmy Award nomination for his role as Mark Cyr in the TV series Parenthood (2010-13). This series focuses on family values and while entertaining, it causes viewers to reflect upon the things that really matter in life, and is fairly hard-hitting at the gut level. Jason’s acting style makes him a perfect fit in the cast. He is also well-known for his role as Kevin Girardi of Joan of Arcadia (2003-5).
Jason received top star billing as Sean Walker in the mystery and drama series The Event (2010-11), in which Jason performs some serious acting, which appears to be his forte. That’s not to say that he’s limited to roles in the drama genre. He’s given some hilarious performances in comedies such as his lead role as Ben in A Bag of Hammers (2011), Gavin in Us & Them (2013), and The Class (2006-7), as Ethan Haas.
Ritter’s most recent this year has been full including Call Me Crazy: A Five Film (2013), as Bruce; I Am II (2013), as Jonathan; The Sidekick (2013) as Loco; Drunk History (2013) as Stetson Kennedy; Gravity Falls (2012-13) as Dipper, and TV series Ghost Girls (2013) as William/Brad.
Jason Ritter has more films coming in the next year including TV series Dipper’s Guide to the Unexplained (2013), as the voice of Dipper; About Alex (2014), in the lead role of Alex; We’ll Never Have Paris (2014), Wild Canaries (2014), The Labyrinth (2014) You’re Not You (2014) and Seven Minutes (2013). Fans are expecting Jason to have excellent reviews for his latest efforts, and are looking forward to being entertained by him again in the near future.
