When you become a top star in the entertainment industry, you are regularly asked to take part in photoshoots for different magazines and publications. When you are a Hollywood star, this is a great way to promote your movie. Often though, these publications and magazines decide to photoshop the images and can often go too far. Here we look at some of the more unnecessary celebrity photoshops.
Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence is a global superstar, recognised the world over, so it seemed strange when Dior decided to make her unrecognisable with too much photoshop. Lawrence said of the picture, "That doesn't look like me at all. I love Photoshop more than anything in the world. Of course it's Photoshop, people don't look like that."
British actress Kate Winslet has been in the movie making business for so long, that she has almost become used to not looking like herself in photoshoots. GQ once made the mistake of photoshopping Kate Winslet, without realising that she could be seen in the mirror behind her, looking her normal self.
One of the most memorable celebrity photoshops would have to be the one of Keira Knightley on the poster for the 2004 movie King Arthur. A face tattoo was added, as well as increasing the size of her boobs, to which Keira stated, "Those things certainly weren't mine."
