There has always been a huge amount of pressure on young women to look skinny, which has often been blamed on the modelling industry and the stick thin models they regularly parade at fashion shows. The pressure is even worse if you are a woman in the entertainment industry, and not everybody knows the right way to go to get themselves fit and healthy.
The very beautiful and extremely talented star Julianne Hough has been talking about her body and she has revealed how she never used to eat right, while she was also working out too much. Now though, Julianne has found the perfect balance and she has admitted that she now feels fitter and healthier than she ever has before in her life.
Hough said, "I love my shape (now) because I feel strong and fit, and that makes me feel confident. When I look at pictures of myself when I was 19, my body was banging, but I was killing myself. I was working out two and a half hours a day and eating the bare minimum to survive. I was so miserable. I wasn't healthy. To be honest, I looked like a kid. Now I'm embracing the fact that I'm a woman with curves. E! News recently posted a picture of me coming out of the gym, and there were all these comments about the photo, like, 'We could have abs like this, but we love pizza too much'."
She added, "I started laughing because pizza is my favourite food. I eat it a lot! I want everyone to know that I'm not Miss Perfect. You can cheat every once in a while, and that's OK. You can still have a fit body as long as you work out regularly and eat relatively healthfully (sic) throughout your life. I take time every morning to start my day with a workout. That's what makes me feel happy and personally fulfilled, which means I have so much more to give later on."
So there you have it ladies, if you want that piece of pizza then go ahead and have it, but don't forget that you will need to work it off in the gym. It is all about finding you perfect balance and Julliane Hough jas clearly found hers.
