Teenage singer Lorde recently made some remarks about Nicki Minaj Drake, which did not go down too well with the two stars or their fans. Now, in a bid to repair any damage that she may have done, Lorde has decided to try and clear the matter up, making sure people understand the point she was trying to make.

Lorde performing live
Lorde said at the time, "Around the middle of last year I started listening to a lot of rap, like Nicki Minaj and Drake, as well as pop singers like Lana Del Rey. They all sing about such opulence, stuff that just didn't relate to me - or anyone that I knew. I began thinking, 'How are we listening to this? It's completely irrelevant.'"
Lorde has now taken to her official Twitter account to clear up her remarks, "I have nothing but love and admiration for both Nicki and Drake (have said this x1000)... Just because their songs aren't my reality (being 17 and from Auckland) doesn't mean I don't admire their musicianship and careers!" she said.

Lorde had a pop at Nicki Minaj
This is not the first time that Lorde has been at the centre of a feud with a fellow singer. Back in October, Lorde had a bit of a pop at Taylor Swift, claiming that the star was not a realistic role model. Who will be next on her radar?
