The 2014 FIFA World Cup is hitting the quarter-final stages this week, with plenty of exciting matches set to take place between now and the end of the World Cup. Later today we will see the World Cup hosts Brazil taking on Colombia in the second quarter-final match and there has already been plenty of talk about what we should expect to see happen.
There has been a lot of talk about the condition of Brazil's star striker Neymar, after it was believed that the player was struggling with a knock and might not be able to make the starting line-up for the quarter-final match against Colombia. It was thought that Neymar has a knee and/or thigh injury, which could relegate the striker to the bench.
However, Neymar has been training with the Brazil squad ahead of the quarter final match with Colombia and he insists that he feels fine, which has given the fans hope that he will start the game. Neymar explained, "I am able to play against Colombia. I have no pain. I feel very well-trained and rest assured, I'm fine."
That will be a huge relief to the Brazil fans, as Neymar has been leading their run towards winning the World Cup, scoring four goals already in the tournament, leaving him one behind the leading scorer James Rodriguez, who will start for Colombia today.
Before the Brazil v Colombia match kicks off tonight, we will have the France v Germany quarter final. Then, tomorrow we will see Argentina v Belgium, ahead of Netherlands v Costa Rica.
Who do you think will win World Cup 2014?
