Things between One Direction and The Wanted have never exactly been great and, over the past year or so, there have been plenty of bad words exchanged. However, The Wanted singer Nathan Sykes claims that the war of words has ended and even suggested that a The Wanted and One Direction collaboration could happen in the future.

The Wanted were enemies with One Direction
Sykes told MTV News, "You never know, you never know! I think with Backstreet Boys and New Kids [On The Block], that's really cool what they did, and there's been some great collaborations. You never know."
He added, "I think both ourselves and One Direction are, as far as I'm concerned, whatever kinds of words were said since I wasn't really part of it, think it kind of [went away], which is awesome. I think it's best people really concentrate on the success that we're both having and how well [we're doing], which is always great."

Nathan Sykes says things have calmed down between them
Things got so bad between The Wanted, who are made up of Nathan Sykes, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker, Max George and Siva Kaneswaran, and One Direction, consisting of Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson, that they almost even came to blows, with offers of fights being thrown out there.
We are glad that they finally seem to have grown up and moved on from the childish nonsense.
