Petra Nemcova at Only Make Believe gala
Now, Petra Nemcova has been honoured for her charity work at the 13th annual Make Believe on Broadway gala on Monday (November 5). The event took place at the New York Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre in support of the Only Make Believe charity, which attempts to bring theatre to disabled and chronically ill children.
The 13th annual Make Believe on Broadway gala was hosted by ex Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star Christopher Meloni. The gala also featured some special performances from some of the top Broadway and music stars, including Matthew Broderick, Norm Lewis, Ashley Brown and Derrick Baskin.
Petra Nemcova was not the only star to be honoured at the gala, as legendary British actor Ian McKellan was also honoured for his charity work. The Only Make Believe was set up by Dena Hammerstein back in 1999.
