With the comic book movie scene continuing to get bigger and better all the time, with more and more of our favourite comic book characters coming to the big screen, we are seeing fans calling for plenty of their favourite Hollywood stars to land roles in these movies. Certain fans want certain stars to play certain characters, with plenty still to hit the big screen or even be cast.
In fact, there have been a lot of DC fans wanting to see Green Arrow coming to the big screen, with Sons of Anarchy actor Charlie Hunnam appearing to be the fans favourite for the role. However, Charlie has been talking about the possibility of appearing as Green Arrow in the DC Extended Universe, admitting that he actually has no idea who the character is, as he is not a comic book fan.
Hunnam explained, "I didn’t grow up a comic book fan and I haven’t really seen any of those Marvel films or the Batman films. It’s just not really my taste. I must confess I don’t really know who the Green Arrow is. It’s not part of my vision for my career or what I aspire to."
While this will no doubt lead to the comic book fans to change their suggestions to another actor, the fact of the matter is that there are currently no plans to bring Green Arrow to the big screen any time soon. So for those of you who are fans of the character, you are just going to have to be happy and make do with the Stephen Amell version of Green Arrow in the DCTV Universe. Sorry guys!
