A.J. Cook is one of the most popular actresses on television according to the 'Q' ratings taken in September 2014 (Gold Derby News) and it is apparent from her acting on Criminal Minds in recent episodes shown since then that she did not let this designation impact her acting.
Human nature is such that sometimes when one receives praise for spectacular work that an individual might rest on their laurels or 'start believing the hype' but it seems to be the opposite for this gorgeous Canadian actress. She has not only maintained her fantastic acting level but I believe she might have even become a 'better' actor since the news of her popularity has been released and as such I have a feeling that 2015 might be the year that AJ Cook makes the move from the hit show "Criminal Minds" to the big screen.
In 2013 she filmed the movie "Wer" and while the movie was not well received by some critics in 2014 her performance in the movie (that went straight to DVD) was quite impressive.
While she has made no mention of making a move from the small screen to big screen in 2015 it is something that I have a feeling is part of her plan or her agents because it was only in 2013 that she was fired by CBS allegedly due to 'budget cuts' and her role was basically saved by a letter writing campaign initiated by good friend Kirsten Vangsness.
Such slights by one's employer do not disappear from an actor's memory and with her popularity being so high among television actors one 2015 might be the ideal time for her to make the move to a starring role in a Hollywood movie. She would bring fans, acting 'chops' and beautiful looks to any role she plays and if she were to take on a dramatic 'lead' role in a film it is very likely that she could become one of the new big screen movie stars in late 2015 or early 2016.
A.J. Cook has had a sensational acting year in 2014 and as such the next move for the career of this talented actress might be to return to the big screen in 2015 but this time, on a permanent basis.
