Hollywood actor Will Smith has been one of the biggest, best and most sought after actors in Hollywood for many years now and, while his recent movies might not live up to the greats that he was making back in the 1990s and early 2000s, he is still scene as a very popular star in Hollywood. Well, Will is one of the people who has helped to make the new Marvel movie Black Panther one of the most successful films ever and he has admitted that watching such a special film almost moved him to tears.
Smith took to Instagram to post a video of himself praising Black Panther, in which he said, "What you have done is spectacular. I watched the film a couple of days ago, and damn near got brought to tears. You guys have challenged and potentially even shattered a lot of long time, long false held Hollywood beliefs and paradigms. I just wanna say congratulations to you, I’m proud and excited. Damn near giddy!"
Meanwhile, along with the video, the actor added the caption, "I want to share something that Nelson Mandela said to me. He said, 'With the type of fame that you have attained it is important when you encounter your fans that you — Reach Your Hand Out and let them Feel Your Flesh. You have to prove to them that you are REAL — because people can not aspire to anything they do not believe is Real.' So I say to you, Congratulations! Enjoy this Transcendent Moment. Go into the streets... Touch them... Let them know that you are real!"
As far as his own acting career is concerned, Will Smith has a huge amount of new movies linked to his name, although we do know that he is going to play the role of the Genie in the live-action Aladdin movie, which is currently in post-production and is looking to hit the big screen on May 24, 2019.
