When it comes to talking about the hottest women who have ever worked in the entertainment industry, there is no denying that Pamela Anderson is a name that will come up time and again and will continue to for many years to come. One of the biggest connections that people will make with Pamela, is the fact that she modelled for the huge publication Playboy magazine on a number of occasions.

These days, Pamela Anderson is not as active on the entertainment scene as she once was but she is still someone who is not afraid to come out and speak her mind. Pamela recently opened up about her experience of being molested by a babysitter when she was just a child, and the star has now admitted that working with Playboy helped her to overcome her feelings about the situation.
Anderson said, "I was molested as a child by a bad female babysitter, who is no longer alive. And my first experiences with men were not consensual. I was painfully shy as a child. As a young girl, Playboy empowered me. It really saved my life. I felt very trapped inside and needed to free myself. It was a breakthrough for me, and there I met artists and activists and gentleman. It has been a fun and wild life."

She added, "I encourage everyone to be brave and step outside your comfort zone. It's a springboard into the unknown. And when you can do this, you can really live. We've all had some kind of tragedy in our lives. We just have to remember that and be good to each other."
It is always good for victims of abuse to hear others speaking out about it so that they do not feel like they are alone and to help them have the courage to speak out about their own situations.
